In 30 seconds

The fastest, friendliest beach sport you've never tried.

Played on a sand court with paddles and a slow ball. The ball never bounces — every shot is a volley.

  • Tennis scoring (15-30-40) but faster and more social
  • Gentler on knees than tennis — perfect for the beach
  • Anyone can rally in their first lesson
  • Global ITF tour with 3M+ players worldwide

They came for one session.
They never left.

"I'd never picked up a paddle in my life. After one Sunday session at Cheung Sha I was hooked. Three months in, I play every weekend."

First-timer questions

Everything you wanted to know

Do I need my own racket?

No — all coaches provide rackets and balls for your first session. Once you're hooked, our shop stocks Nox rackets.

What should I wear?

Anything beach-friendly: T-shirt, shorts or leggings, sunscreen, cap, water. Most players go barefoot on the sand.

Can my kids play?

Yes — kids from around 6 years old pick it up quickly. Coach Paddy and Coach Gwen both run kid-friendly sessions.

Is it safe in HK summer heat?

Sessions run early morning and from late afternoon to sunset. We pause when HKO issues a Very Hot Weather Warning.

How much does it cost?

Group lessons start around HKD [your rate] per session, private from HKD [your rate]. WhatsApp your coach for exact rates.

I play tennis / padel. Will I be OK?

Better than OK. Racket-sport players usually rally on day one. The volley-only rule means it feels like tennis at the net.
